Designed To Connect With God (Worship)

Knowing and loving God is our greatest privilege, and being known and loved is God’s greatest pleasure. God says, if any want to boast that they know and understand me. . . .
These are the things that please me.

The Purpose Driven Life, Pastor Rick Warren p. 89

Designed to Connect with God

David’s connection with God enabled him to live out God’s design for his life.

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
Psalm 27:4 (NIV)

When we ___________________________ we connect with God.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Psalm 19:1 (NIV)

The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does. The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.
Psalm 145:8, 9, 13b–20 (NIV)
