Jennifer Frary – Why is there a Stigma around Mental Health in the Church?

Jennifer Frary is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a private therapy practice in Bloomfield, NY. Jennifer specializes in helping individuals recover from anxiety, depression, and addictive behaviors. She also helps couples. Jennifer is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR. In addition to her work with clients, Jennifer is involved in educational opportunities for the community. She has presented on topics like Effective Communication, and Stress Management for local businesses. For faith-based groups she has presented on topics related to Mental Health and Spirituality. Outside of the office, Jennifer spends her time with her husband and 5 year old son. She loves reading, cooking, and supporting Syracuse University Men’s Lacrosse.
