The Bible Story of Noah and the Ark!

NOAH AND THE FLOOD

Hey parents! Use these questions as a guide to talk over this week’s Bible story called Noah and the Flood with your child after they’ve watched this week’s Church at Home elementary video. And remember the Big Idea: I can make a difference with God.

  1. What was your favorite part of the video we just watched? Do you have any questions about what you saw?
  2. Why did God tell Noah to build the ark?
Because Noah was faithful to God. God was going to flood the Earth because of all the evil in the world, but God would protect Noah because Noah had followed and believed in God.
  3. What did Noah do with the instructions God gave him?
He followed them exactly as God had said to do!
  4. Where can you find God’s instructions for you?
He gives us instructions on how to live our lives in the Bible. He sometimes talks to us through prayer and through wise people in our lives who love him, too.
  5. What should you do if you don’t understand God’s instructions?
You can pray and ask God to help you understand. You can ask an adult you trust to help you learn what God is saying and what he wants you to do. If you still don’t understand, you can choose to believe in God anyway and trust that his plans are good, and that they are for you.
  6. What are some things you believe about God?
Encourage your child to share what they already believe about God. Share with them why you believe in God and some of the things you love and believe about God.
